Weighting/Filling:The cloth body is filled with glass beads and softly distributed polyfill. Her head, arms, and legs are weighted with fine quartz sand and soft polyfill; her head needs to be supported, as it falls back realistically when lifted.
Details:Jules represents a newborn just minutes or hours old, which is why she still has remnants of Vernix Caseosa on her skin (vernix is the white, creamy substance that protects a baby's skin in the womb and is still present at birth). You can see traces of vernix caseosa on Jules' hands, feet, skin folds, ears, and around her eyes. She also features fine baby hair (lanugo) on her forehead and temples, milia on her nose, and visible veins in anatomically correct locations throughout her body.
