Vinyl Body Types
Traditional Full Limbs
Full vinyl arms and legs. Only the main body is made of cloth
Traditional 3/4 Limbs
Incomplete arms and/or legs (3/4). The upper part of the arm (shoulder) and/or the upper part of the leg (upper thigh) is made of cloth. The central body is also made of cloth.
Cuddle Baby
Only the head is made of vinyl; the entire rest of the body is made of cloth.
Silicone Body Types
Full Body
The entire baby is made of silicone
Partial Silicone
The head, legs, and arms are made of silicone, while the central body is made of cloth. The limbs can be full silicone or just the hands and feet (1/4)
Cuddle Baby
Only the head is made of silicone; the entire rest of the body is made of cloth.
Cloth Body Modifications
The following variations are handcrafted by me, starting from a 'Traditional' body. Through these modifications, I aim to achieve a more flexible and/or better-proportioned body for the vinyl baby.
Body Modification 'Chubby baby'
I modify the body to create a 'chubby baby' look. Larger kits often come with bodies that are too thin, so I add volume to the tummy to achieve those adorable, realistic baby rolls and proportions.
Vinyl Limb Modifications
I carefully cut the vinyl at the wrist/elbow or ankle/knee to allow for full joint flexion or extension. Inside the limb, I install an armature that allows the baby to hold and maintain realistic poses.
Vinyl is a rigid material, so reborn babies made of this material cannot flex or stretch their elbows or knees. This modification solves this problem and will allow the reborn baby to be more flexible and realistic in the poses it adopts.
