Hello! Let me introduce myself: my name is Claudia Águila. I live in Chile, and I have been a Reborn Artist since 2019. I am self-taught artist, having started my journey with YouTube videos. Since then, I have practiced and refined my technique extensively. While I know there is still an infinite amount to learn, I truly enjoy every stage of this wonderful art form. 

Since I was very young, I have been immersed in the world of arts and crafts (painting, knitting, sewing, drawing, sculpting, making stuffed animals, amigurumi, origami, embroidery… you name it, I’ve probably done it, hehe!). It is my favorite pastime 🤍

I first discovered reborn babies during my teenage years and was absolutely fascinated by them. Back then, it felt like an unattainable dream because they didn't exist in Chile, and the idea of buying something from abroad was unimaginable to me.

I always did well in school, and I ended up studying Medicine at university. I reached my 5th year before I was finally able to be honest with myself and admit that I wasn't happy there. After that (and due to other health issues), I decided to leave the program and dedicate myself to what truly makes me happy: Art. 

By then, I had already learned how to buy from abroad and had painted my first reborn baby. It turned out quite well, and its sale allowed me to continue purchasing more materials. So, when I finally left university and had free time, I dove in headfirst, putting all my energy into growing my small business.It was and still is a slow, expensive, and frustrating process, but at the same time, it is incredibly fun, exciting, and rewarding.
